Conditions

Primary osteoarthritis of the knee base on ACR criteria, pain scale more than 7, unilateral or bilateral involvement of knee Isometric exercise, Quadriceps, OA knee, Pain

Interventions

Normal ADL with education about sitting, walking, etc. for 4 weeks.,Isometric quadriceps exercise of the affected knee for 10 times per set
3 sets per day, 5 days per week, consecutive for 4 weeks.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age over 60 who primary diagnostic osteoarthritis of the knee base on ACR criteria and grade 2 or more in radiological evidence followed by Kellgren Lawrence method. 2. Pain scale more than 7, 3. Unilateral or bilateral involvement of the knee (in case of bilateral: more symptomatic side was included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of severe medical problems such as cancer, fracture at lower limbs, uncontrollable hypertension or diabetes mellitus, knee arthroplasty, regular exercise, and poor communication
