15 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age 15 to 60 years, BMI greater than 32.5 kg/m2 with one of the comorbid diseases such as diabetes mellitus, cardiac disease, hypertension, and obstructive sleep apnea, or BMI greater than 37.5 kg/m2 with or without any comorbidity.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with a history of VTE or using anticoagulants and patients with severe medical conditions that are contraindicated for the operation.
