Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: preoperative and postoperative diagnosis of acute appendicitis who undergo open appendectomy under general anesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: American association of Anesthesiologist (ASA) classification above3, allergy to tramadol or opioid derivatives, unable follow instruction to evaluated pain score, patient with history of chronic pain/ long term opioid used, contraindication to general anesthesia such as malignant hyperthermia or airborne disease and patients who undergo appendectomy with delay suture.
