Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Chronic hemodialysis patients via tunneled-cuffed catheter 2. Newly inserted tunneled-cuffed catheter for hemodialysis at right internal jugular vein 3. Age more than 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients that refuse to give consent 2. Previously diagnosis of heparin induced thrombocytopenia 3. Severe liver impairment 4. Patients on cardiac pacemaker or with uncontrolled cardiac arrhythmia 5. Serum calcium less than 8.4 mg/dl within 2 months before enrollment 6. Patients currently on systemic anticoagulant 7. History of allergy to heparin or trisodium citrate 8. Pregnancy
