Interventions

IFC (4,000 Hz of current carrier, 100 Hz of beat frequency) for 20 minutes plus quadriceps exercise for 10 minutes, 5 days per week for 3 weeks (15 sessions) ,sham IFC (no electric current) for 20 min

50 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged between 50-85 years old 2.Were diagnosed OA in accordance to American College of rheumatology criteria (ACR) 3.Pain score more than 4 cm on 10 cm NRS

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous joint replacement 2. History of intra-articular injection, electrotherapy within the past 6 months 3. Had contraindications for performing IFC (Pacemaker, unstable arrythmia, venous or arterial thrombosis/thrombophlebitis, definite diagnosis of tumor around knee) 4. Conditions that affect walking ability (Heart failure, severe low back pain etc.) 5. Problem with verbal communication 6. Erythema, ecchymosis or numbness around knee
