Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Systemically healthy, 2. 25(OH) vitamin D level between 20-30 ng/ml, 3. Non-smoker 4. Male patients who do not take additional vitamin D supplements externally, 5. Devital, closed apex mandibular molar teeth with a periapical lesion of 5 mm or more involving only one root (referring to the largest diameter of the lesion).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. 25(OD) vitamin D value < 20 ng / mL patients, 2.Female patients, 3. Patients with bone metabolism disease and/or patients using drugs (such as steroids, bisphosphonates) that will affect bone metabolism, 4. Patients with a history of radiotherapy, 5. Individuals with diabetes, chronic kidney failure and/or thyroid disease, 6. Patients with sclerosing osteitis, osteosclerosis or any bone pathology (cyst, tumor) in the quadrant of the tooth to be treated, 7. Generalized chronic periodontitis patients 8. Having a periodontal lesion smaller than 5 mm and a periodontal pocket deeper than 3 mm, 9. Developmental anomaly 10. Teeth with a combined lesion involving both roots.
