40 Years to 79 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Both genders 2) Ages between 40 and 79 years (Ba et al., 2022) 3) Both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke survivors 4) Hemiplegia induced by a stroke which has occurred at least 6 months from the initial onset (Lee et al., 2012; Park, 2019) 5) Motor portion of FMA-UE score between 19 and 58 (Fugl-Meyer et al., 1975; Thant et al., 2019) 6) Initiation of active extension of the wrist and fingers (Winstein et al., 2003) 7) Right-handed persons assessed by Edinburgh handedness inventory test (Oldfield, 1971) 8) Able to sit independently on a Swiss ball for longer than 30 seconds (Lee et al., 2012) 9) Able to understand and follow instruction (a score of more than 24 in on the Mini-Mental State Examination) (Lee et al., 2012) 10) Willing to participate in the study 11) Stable medical condition

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Other neurological diseases 2) Bilateral stroke 3) Musculoskeletal problems such as deformities, recent fracture, reflex sympathetic dystrophy on the affected UE, and history of low back pain (Renald, Regan, 2016) 4) Pain that interferes with functional use of UE as identified by pain/ROM FMA-UE pain score of 1 for at least 2 joints on the paretic arm (Tretriluxana et al., 2013) 5) All types of aphasia 6) Visual problem that cannot be corrected
