Interventions
For the intervention group, the hiatal dissection is performed through pars flacida until the hiatal region, exposing bilateral hiatal pillars. Cruroplasty was performed by applying Ethibond Excel 2/0

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with a BMI of 32.5 kg/m2 or more with at least one obesity-related co-morbidities, and all patients with BMI 37.5 kg/m2 or more were selected for this study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with grade IV sliding Hiatus Hernia were excluded based on pre-operative upper endoscopy based.
