- intraperitoneal local anaesthetic instillation of 10 ml of ropivacaine 0.7 per cent
- This solution was instilled at the left crus dissected area. ,-10 ml of normal saline was used for instillation

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Obese Patients who are undergoing laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion 1. Pre-existing chronic pain under pain clinic follow up 2. Allergy to ropivacaine 3. Preexisting Chronic Liver disease with Child-Pugh B or C 4. Preexisting Chronic kidney disease 5. Previous history of abdominal surgery
