Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Keloid patients who were presumed to undergo surgical excision and primary closure because of a diagnosis of a keloid scar anywhere on the body were enrolled.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded before randomization if they met the following criteria: receipt of other treatments such as intralesional steroid injection, silicone sheet, or radiation for the keloid less than 3 months before enrollment; a history of triamcinolone acetonide hypersensitivity or anaphylaxis, immunocompromised patients, patients using steroid or immunosuppressive drugs, and patients who refused to participate in the study.
