Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age over 20 years old 2. Healthy (ASA classification I or II) 3. Good oral hygiene (Simplified Oral Hygiene Index (OHI-S) by Greene-Vermillion score less than 1.2) 4. Healed bone crest (greater than or equal to 4 months after tooth extraction or tooth loss) 5. Adequate of native bone height (distance from alveolar crest to inferior alveolar canal greater than or equal to 10 mm and bucco-lingual width greater than or equal to 8 mm) evaluated by Dental CBCT 6. Adequate band of keratinized mucosa (keratinized band at mid buccal greater than or equal to 2 mm) 7. Planning for one-stage surgical technique of implant placement at mandibular molar without other adjuvant procedures needed (ISQ greater than or equal to 60)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of glossectomy or tongue surgery 2. Present with ankyloglossia (tongue range of motion ratio (TRMR) grade 3 and 4 which equal less than 50%) 3. Uncontrolled systemic disease 4. History of radiotherapy at head and neck area 5. History of receiving oral or intravenous bisphosphonates 6. Heavy smoker (greater than or equal to10 cigarette/day) 7. Alcohol or drugs abuse 8. Pregnancy and lactation 9. Unconfident to follow-up
