Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age > 18 years 2.Hallux valgus angle 30-50 degrees (moderate to severe degree) 3.Onset equal or more than 5 years 4.no plan to surgery in 1 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.acute inflammation 2.hallux rigidus or hallux limitus 3.foot numbness or ulcer 4.maceration at first web space 5.history of using hallux valgus strap or othotic device in 1 year 6.unable to do the questionnaire 7.History if hallux valgus surgery

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
hallux valgus angle at first visit ,6 months and 12 months measured in foot radiograph by two physiatrist if not different more than 3 degrees will use the average angle

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
hallux valgus pain at first visit, 6 months and 12 months Numerical rating scale(0-10),Complications at first visit, 6 months and 12 months report in percent of complications,Satisfactions at first visit, 6 months and 12 months Measured by numeric rating scale (0 as dissatisfied, 10 as the most satisfied)
