Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed transfusion dependent thalassemia Diagnosed sarcopenia according to criteria of Asian working group on sarcopenia 2019 Age >= 18 years New York Heart Association (NYHA) functional class I

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: not willing to or unable to complete the project for the full 6 month period pregnancy co-morbidites with heart , lung , liver , kidney disease which is not suitable to receive dietary supplementation and resistance exercise program
