Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Pediatric patients with moderate to severe ARDS (oxygen index (OI) more than 12) according to the Pediatric Acute Lung Injury Consensus Conference (PALICC) definition using HFOV
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: cyanotic heart disease, severe obstructive airway disease, unstable spines or did not consent.
