Conditions

Overweight and obese participants who BMI more than 23.0 kg/m2. High intensity interval training, Asparagus root extract supplementation, Biomarker, Cardiovascular, Obese

Interventions

Participants in the control group will be asked to maintain their daily physical activity and dietary intake for 12 weeks. ,Participants in the HIIT group will be asked to perform home-based exercise

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Male or female and age range 18 to 30 years 2) Body mass index more than 23 kilogram per m2 3) Exercise less than 75 minutes per week

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Daily supplementation with drugs or diets 2) Having food or drug allergy i.e., asparagus 3) Regular smoking (> 30 packs-years) 4) Regular alcohol drinking (>1 cup/day) 5) Having drugs or diseases of cardiovascular, respiratory, liver, renal, endocrine, musculoskeletal, infectious, cancer, neurological, or psychiatric disease

Immunology Baseline and post-intervention Intravenous blood sample for about 10 ml will be collected for analyzing immune function (complete white blood cells count),Inflammatory biomarkers Baseline and post-intervention Intravenous blood sample will be collected for analyzing inflammation (IL-6, TNF-alpha).,Oxidative stress biomarkers Baseline and post-intervention Intravenous blood sample will be collected for analyzing oxidative stress (malondialdehyde, protein carbonyl)

The 24 hrs. dietary recall and Food Frequency Questionnaires will be used to determine dietary intake.,Body composition and anthropometry Baseline, during, post-intervention Body composition (body mass, BMI, muscle mass, %body fat, fat mass, water mass, protein mass, mineral mass, bone mass, and visceral fat level) will be measured by a bioelectrical impedance analyzer.
