Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis age more than 18 years old with peritonitis that be diagnosed when at least two of the following are present 1) clinical features consistent with peritonitis, that is,abdominal pain and/or cloudy dialysis effluent; 2) dialysis effluent white cell count > 100/mL (after a dwell time of at least 2 h), with > 50%polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN); 3) positive dialysis effluent culture, recieve intravenous piperacillin/tazobactam, able to give consent by themselves and are not enrolled another study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who received piperacillin/tazobactam within 24 hours ago. 2. Patients who on hemodialysis or continuous renal replacement therapy 3. Patients who had allergy history to Piperacillin, Tazobactam and beta-lactams 4. Septic shock 5. Pregnancy 6. Burn 7. Hemoglobin < 7 g%
