18 Years to 29 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. age between 18 and 29 years of age 2. history of one unilateral ankle sprain that resulted in pain and loss of function and the initial sprain must have occurred at least 12 months before attend to study 3. history of at least 2 episodes of giving way of the injured ankle joint in the past 6 months and 4. Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool (CAIT) questionnaire score of lower than 24 points 5. not allergic to gel, tape, and electrode.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. history of neuromusculoskeletal disorder 2. trauma to the lower limbs for at least 3 months prior to the study 3. previous lower back or lower limb surgeries within the past 1 year 4. currently under the care of a physician or physiotherapy within the last 3 months for a lower back or lower extremity injury or pain 5. history of a head trauma or other cognitive impairment within the past 6 months, or were currently experiencing any vestibular disorders, such as nausea, dizziness, and headache, assess with subjective examination by the researcher 6. consumed drugs or alcohol within 24 hours prior to testing and 7. impaired of sensation in sole of foot as assessed by monofilament
