Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria include the females undergraduate students age 18 years and above from An-Najah National university and Palestine Technical University. Inclusion criteria for phase 2 particularly: presence of PMS symptoms ( mild, moderate or severe), with low score of depression, anxiety or stress according to the DASS cut off points and scoring manual.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included the subjects with any of the followings 1. Irregular menses: menstrual cycle intervals (<24 or >35 days) 2. Allergy to aromatherapy 3. Starting hormone therapy or using medication that mataffect the treatment 4. Not using hormone medication for at least 2 months before 5. married
