Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with psoriasis referred to dermatology clinic were selected based on definite clinical and pathological criteria. The patients should have active psoriatic skin lesions and a history of disease, without recent use of topical or systemic corticosteroid in the last three months. Healthy subjects (the control group) were selected from non-familial companions referred to the clinic if they had no history of autoimmune or inflammatory diseases.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Subjects with a history of concomitant autoimmune or inflammatory diseases, as well as pregnant or lactating women were excluded.
