Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were age >40 years, diagnosis of stable COPD in according to the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) criteria
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were history of exacerbations in the past 8 weeks, presence of cardiovascular diseases, such as myocardial infarction, unstable angina, arrhythmias, heart failure or cardiomyopathy; patients with disabilities who could not perform the 6MWT, such as those with rheumatic diseases, orthopedic diseases and neuromuscular disorders.
