Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. closed intertrochanteric multifragmentary femoral fracture (AO/OTA classification 31A2) 2. Treatment with CRIF with cephalomedullary nail surgery 3. Age >= 60 years old 4. Low energy mechanism

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Multiple injury or concurrent fracture at other site 2. Prior hip surgery 3. Can not walk previous to fracture 4. Incomplete data at 3 months after surgery
