Conditions

If the extraction site(s) is left untreated for a long period of time, alveolar ridge resorption will take place. Therefore, it is important to preserve the alveolar ridge dimensions until the treatment to restore the edentulous area is to be carried out alveolar bone grafting, alveolar ridge augmentation, bone substitutes, dental implants, tooth extraction

Following tooth extraction, graft processing will be done in the raw tooth particles (RTP) group as the following: extracted teeth will be dried by air and examined. If tooth decay is present, it will

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - 18 years old and above - Have a non-molar tooth to be extracted - Have extraction sockets with at least 50% of the buccal wall still intact (EDS 1, 2 or 3) - Agree to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any uncontrolled systemic diseases or medical conditions that may interfere with bone healing process. History of radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Pregnant/planning-to-get-pregnant women. Smokers. Presence of periapical lesion or acute infection in the extraction site. Patients who do not attend all the follow-up appointments.
