Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age 19 Presence of a circulatory failure Need for a fluid challenge, as decided by the attending physician Had jugular venous catheterization in place Hemodynamic monitoring with a Flotrac connected Agree to participate in study and sign the consent form
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy Moribund At high risk of pulmonary edema from fluid loading as judged by attending physicians Decline to participate in the study or withdraw from the study
