Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with a body mass index equal or more than 30 kg/m2 undergoing elective spine surgery at the Neurological Institute of Thailand.

intraoperative oxygen desaturation intraoperative period pulse oxygen saturation less 90% for more than 3 min or once below 85%,intraoperative hypotension intraoperative period systolic blood pressure less than 90 mmHg,difficult intubation during intubation requiring more than three attempts or more than 10 min of laryngoscopy,new-onset postoperative pressure ulcers 24 hours postoperatively National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel ,major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events 24 hours postoperatively non fatal cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, new cardiac arrhythmia, stroke, cardiovascular death, cerebrovascular death
