Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects are 12 years of age or older at the start of treatment, 2. Patients are treated with the same type of conventional preadjusted brackets (Roth type, Slot.022, Omni Arch, Tomy International, Tokyo, Japan), 3. Patients who present with conventional fixed orthodontic appliances in both upper and lower arch for at least 1 month
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The patients experienced salivary gland dysfunction, took any drugs with a side effect of hyposalivation, or antibiotic therapy within 3 months prior to the study.
