Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Overweight (BMI more than or equal to 23 kg/m2) Normal weight ((BMI 18.5 to 22.9 kg/m2) 20 years to 50 years of age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any chronic disease Medication for dyslipidemia, type 2 diabetes or elevated blood pressure History of intestinal surgery Pregnancy/breastfeeding The use of antibiotics, pro-prebiotics within 3 months

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The comparison of metabolic biomarkers, inflammatory biomarkers and the gut microbiota composition 2 weeks after the first vist The gut microbiota will be analyzed by 16s amplicon sequencing technique, and metabolic parameters will be analyzed by blood chemistry analyzers

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The relationship between metabolic parameters and the gut microbiota composition and dietary pattern within one year after end of the intervention A multivariate linear regression analysis was performed in order to test associations between the gut microbiota composition and metabolic variables and diet pattern of participants
