Resistive breathing exercise is recommended for respiratory health improvement, but its acute effects on the interactions between respiratory and cardiovascular in terms of hemodynamics and cardiac autonomic function are not well investigated. Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they had chronic heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, implanted a cardiac pacemaker, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, uncontrolled blood pressure, pulmonary or neurological disorders, or experienced previous cardiac surgery
