Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. greater or equal to 20 years old 2. mild-to-moderate hallux valgus , HVA: 15 to 40 degree with metatarsalgia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with neurological diseases (eg, stroke or Parkinson disease), diabetic peripheral neuropathy, leg-length discrepancy following lower limb fracture or joint replacement, osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures, or other lower limb joint deformity or pain impeding study participation were excluded.
