ultrasound guided suprascapular nerve block with 10 ml of 0.5% bupivacaine,ultrasound guided suprascapular nerve block with 5 ml of 0.5% bupivacaine

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult subjects (18 - 75 years old) with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status classification I - III undergoing arthroscopic shoulder surgery under general anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: subject refusal, chronic opioid use, allergy to local anesthetics, chronic pulmonary disease, coagulopathy, BMI>30 and kin infection at puncture site

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
hemidiaphragmatic paresis 30 min after intervention and after surgery M-mode ultrasonography

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
