Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Known diagnosis of cirrhosis 2. Presence of risk of acute kidney injury, including gastrointestinal bleeding, bacterial infection, diarrhea, vomiting, poor intake, large-volume paracentesis, excessive diuretics usage, taking nephrotoxic drugs, and acute decompensation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Prior liver or kidney transplantation 2. End-stage renal disease with renal replacement therapy at the time of enrollment 3. Acute interstitial nephritis 4. Acute glomerulonephritis 5. Post-renal acute kidney injury 4. Current use of immunosuppressive agents other than treatment of severe alcoholic hepatitis 5. Severe extrahepatic disease 6. Pregnancy
