Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Hb E/Beta-thalassemia patients who received regular blood transfusion for >1 year before enrollment in the study 2. Hb E/Beta-thalassemia patients who underwent allogeneic HSCT from October, 2003 to March, 2019 and were followed up >1 year before enrollment in the study and recovered completely without transfusion dependence

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who had abnormal TFT before diagnosis with severe Hb E/Beta-thalassemia 2.Patients who had thyroid function test done less than twice during treatment 3.Patients who were treated with HSCT more than one time
