G6PD deficiency LPRC will given to patient that meet inclusion criteria,G6PD normal LPRC will given to patient that meet inclusion criteria

Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >18 yrs. 2. Require blood transfusion (Hb <8.0 g/dL or anemic symptoms) 3. pure underproduction anemia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. anemia from blood loss or hemolysis 2. G6PD deficiency patients 3. Receiving medications which might induce hemolysis in G6PD deficiency within one week

MeasureTime frame
Hemolysis at 48 hr after intervention measurements of pre- and post-transfusion indirect bilirubin, LDH and haptoglobin

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Hb rising at 48 hr after intervention measurements of pre- and post-transfusion Hb and Hct
