Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For depressive volunteers 1. Patients aged 18 - 60 years 2. Good at reading and communicating in Thai 3. No intellectual disabilities for a group of patients with depression 4. Scores from the Thai version of the HRSD-17 from 13 points or more For non-depressive volunteers 1.Patients aged 18 - 60 years 2.Good at reading and communicating in Thai 3.No history of being diagnosed with depression 4.Scores from the Thai version of the HRSD-17 less than 13 points

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients unable to communicate due to medical conditions or due to sensory problems diagnosed by a doctor 2.Patients with diseases that affect facial expressions or have facial deformities such as Bell's palsy, Parkinson's disease, or Facial palsy from various conditions 3.Patients with congenital facial deformities 4.Psychiatric patients with Schizophrenia spectrum, Anxiety disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Dissociative Disorder, Psychosomatic disorder, Feeding and Eating Disorder, and Substance use disorder.
