Interventions

The 4% cocaine hydrochloride (total dose, 15mg) soaked cottonoids were placed in each nasal cavity for 15 minutes.,A mixture of 12 puffs of 10% lidocaine hydrochloride(total dose,120 mg

AstraZenea, Sodertalje, Sweden) plus 1 mL of 1:100,000 adrenaline soaked cottonoids were placed in each nasal cavity for 15 minutes.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adult patients (18-60 years) 2.Eligible participants could read and write in Thai language.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Uncooperative patients 2.Preexisting cardiovascular disease (arrhythmia, tachycardia), neurological or psychiatric diseases, thrombocytopenia, pregnancy, 3.Allergy to any local anesthetic drug or patients who received any anticoagulant drug. 4.Patients who had undergone turbinate surgery or endoscopic sinus surgery
