Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Professional male football players 18 to 35 years old, 2. No history of a lower limb surgery, 3. Compete in National Football Level (Super League 1,2 and Football League) , 4. Participated at least in 24 games in National or International level during the competitive period, 5. Training 15 - 30 hours/week, 6. Training in football at least for 5 years, 7. Sustained an ankle sprain grade II which has been rehabilitated and the athlete has been successfully progressed in pre-discharged stage of FR, 8. With no Functional Ankle Instability (Greek version of the Identification functional ankle instability questionnaire IdFAI, score < 10) will be used in order to identify athletes with FAI, 9. Ankle sprain grade II has been diagnosed from a specified doctor in orthopedics with a 5 year experience in musculoskeletal injuries in lower limb. Diagnosis will be set with the use of clinical assessment and MRI.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Vestibular, visual or neurological deficits, 2. History of fracture, ankle sprain or musculoskeletal injury of the lower limbs during the last 6 months, 3. Surgery of the lower limbs during the last year, 4. Concussion during the last 6 months, 5. Abnormal BMI rates, 6. Epilepsy, 7. Cardiovascular disease, 8. Functional ankle instability.
