Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: BMI > 35 and diabetes mellitus type 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Documented psychiatric disorders, alcohol or substance abuse, major diseases such as cancer or autoimmune diseases, corticosteroid therapy, DM2 duration <10 years and HbA1c >6.5%
