Conditions

Kawasaki disease (KD) is a common vasculitis in childhood. Coronary artery aneurysms (CAAs) are major complication especially in patients who left untreated. Serial echocardiography at initial diagnosis, 2 weeks and 8 weeks after onset is recommended but may be more frequent if CAAs develop. However, the echocardiography at 2 weeks in patients who had no CAAs on the initial echocardiography often show no progression on the observation. Kawasaki disease

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All children age 1 month to 18 years old who had KD without CAAs on initial echocardiography in Siriraj hospital, Nakornpathom hospital, Prapokkloa Chantaburi hospital, Choaphrayayommarat Hospital between July 1st, 2017 and March 31st, 2020

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who had incomplete data of echocardiography at initial diagnosis, 2 weeks and 8 weeks. 2. Patients who had congenital heart disease
