In the standard treatment of phacoemulsification, we normally use room temperature irrigation solution.,we use the decreased temperature irrigation solution in phacoemulsification to study its effect

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patients of out patient unit, ophthalmology department, Srinagarind Hospital who are diagnosed nuclear cataract grade 2-3 according to WHO/PBD cataract grading 2. age between 18-80 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. those who has already been a participant of the study for another eye 2. those who has been diagnosed any of these following conditions in the eye that plan for the surgery ; glaucoma, shallow anterior chamber, pseudoexfoliation syndrome, any ocular diseases that have effect on endothelial cells, uveitis, previous intraocular surgery, pterygium that involve area of central corneal thickness or scar of pteryium excision that involve area of central corneal thickness, previous ocular trauma, infection, autoimmune disease, other ocular disease, currently on any ocular medications. 3. those whose endothelial cell counts are less than 1500 cells per squaremillimeter 4. those whose central corneal thickness is more than 600 micrometer 5. those who is diagnosed severe dry eye grade 3-4 according to DEWS definition and classification 6. those who is diagnosed complicated cataract.
