Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. a father or mother having preterm infants hospitalized in the NICU, age greater than or equal 18 years, has no experiences of caring for premature birth, and be able to speak, read, write, and understand Thai fluently, 2. a preterm infant with gestational age between 28 to 32 weeks, birth weight less than 2,500 gram, absence of critical conditions such as intraventricular hemorrhage (grades III and IV) or having no evidences of severe birth asphyxia or congenital anomalies, has singleton pregnancy, being the first time hospitalized in NICU with Clinical Risk Index for Babies (CRIB) score less than or equal 15, has a parent participation in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. infants worsening conditions including RR > 60 bmp or < 30 bmp or apnea, HR more than 180 bpm or more than 20 percentage persist more than or equal 10 minutes, BT > 37.5 or < 36.5, BP less than 5th percentile or systolic BP < 2 SD or, 2. infant death before the end of the program or, 3. the parent cannot continue in any session of the intervention
