Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with closed fracture of distal end radius 2. Patients who needed surgery 3. Age > 18 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who refuse operative treatment 2. Patients who do not give consent 3. Patients undergoing revision surgery 4. Patients who have bilateral fractures 5. Patients who have pathological fracture 6. Patients who have distal end radius of more than 2 weeks 7. Patients who have associated ulnar fracture except ulnar styloid 8. Patients who have history of major surgery of the other hand 9. Patients who have history of breast surgery 10. Patients with concurrent disease of hand e.g. Dupuytrens or rheumatoid arthritis 11. Patients who have contraindication in elevating the hand or flexing or extending elbow 12. Patients who have wound on their hands that prevents them from exposing to water
