18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age > 18 years 2. Patients with colon and rectal disease with indication for surgery 3. No mechanical bowel preparation 4. Open colorectal surgery as standard technique 5. Agree for informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age > 80 years 2. Allergic to metronidazole 3. Emergency operation 4. Malnutrition 5. Reject to sign informed consent
