Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diabetes type 2 being diagnosed for at least one year. Not being a professional athlete and not having a heavy regular exercise program in the last six months. The amount of the last measured glycosylated hemoglobin be 6.5 or more. No scar of recent surgery, contusion, sprain, phlebitis, inflammation, petechia, ecchymosis, subcutaneous hemorrhage, skin wounds, erythema, swelling, pain and heat on the areas that massage is about to be applied. Being between 18 to 60 of age range. Having average to severe anxiety.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of participation in more than 2 continuous sessions Patients with diagnosed psychiatric disorders Incidence of acute infectious or cardiovascular disease Unwillingness to continue the collaboration Incidence of acute complications of diabetes like hyperglycemia Incidence of acute stress like the death of a close family member Use of substances and drugs which affect the patients' anxiety Incidence of an event which leads to scar of recent surgery, burn, contusion, sprain, phlebitis, inflammation, petechia, ecchymosis, subcutaneous hemorrhage, skin wounds, erythema, swelling, pain and heat on the areas that massage is about to be applied.
