patients will record parameters before and after spontaneous breathing trial with automatic tube compensation (tube compensation 100%, PEEP 5cmH2O) for 30 minutes then record parameters before and aft

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: admitted to ICU in Ramathibodi hospital intubated and mechanically ventilated more than 48 hours passed to spontaneous breathing trial

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contra-indicated for diaphragm ultrasound Diaphragm pathology Diagnosed neuromuscular pathology e.g. MG, ALS Pregnancy Inability to participate until the end of the trial Withdrawal of informed consent The incomplete data collection form
