Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Fitzpatrick skin type 2-5 2. No severe medical problems 3. No medication concerning severe medical problems. 4. Not on any process of treatment for skin color or melasma for the past 4 weeks 5. Can participate in the research study for 4 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. On melasma or skin color reduction treatment within 4 weeks prior such as retinoid, hydroquinone, koji acid, chemical peeling, microdermabrasion, laser. 2. Pregnant or lactation 3. Hormonal replacement therapy 4. Job with prolong sun exposure time.
