Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The participants aged over 18 years with a diagnosis of acanthosis nigricans
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: vulnerable skin diseases, other skin infections, lesions, or tattoos of the neck, history of photosensitivity, and usage of topical drugs such as retinoids, corticosteroids, immunosuppressive agents, on the studied area within 4 weeks of recruitment. Patients who were pregnant, breastfeeding, had underlying immunodeficiencies or chronic diseases, including type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, chronic liver disease, chronic kidney disease, and coagulopathy were also excluded.
