60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age > 60 years 2. Sex: both male and female 3.Intertrochanteric fracture (AO/OTA classification type 31-A2, 31-A3) 4.Fracture less than 6 weeks from date of injury 5.Medullary canal size > 10 mm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pathological fractures/tumours 2.Neurovascular injuries 3.Multiple fracture 4.Coagulopathy 5.Antiplatelet agents taken (such as Warfarin , Clopidogrel ) less than one month before surgery 6.AO/OTA classification type 31- A3 that need to do open reduction with internal fixation
