Conditions

The human gastrointestinal tract is a habitat and colonization site of both bacterial flora and pathogens which of these organisms can carry resistance genes. This phenomenon may be a cause of spreading of resistant bacteria into community. S. aureus, especially MRSA, can be found in nasal cavity of neonatal patients. Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: None had received any antibiotic treatment or stayed at a hospital within at least three months before signing the informed-consent form for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking probiotic
