the loss of posterior occluding teeth on both sides was associated with less frequent consumption of all protein food types, and inadequate intakes of protein. the intervention group will receive a denture fabrication and diet advice booklet by the dentist ,the control group will receive denture fabrication and routine denture care

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Low protein intake 2. Aged 60 years and over 3. Have posterior occluding teeth less than 4 pairs 4. The older adults who willed to have a dental prosthesis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Restricted diet 2.Dementia 3.Cancer, liver disease, COPD, renal disease are excluded 4.Dysphagia
