Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria were 1) Patients aged 20 years or over who were diagnosed with 1st episode major depressive disorder 2) Patients with acute phase major depressive disorder with mild to moderate severity 3) Patients who were able to listen to music continuously for 20 minutes, and 4) Patients who received antidepressants according to standard treatment guidelines.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were 1) Patients with communication and listening problems 2) Patients with delusional hallucinations 3) Patients with severe heart diseases and 4) Patients with epilepsy
