Conditions

Patients older than 18 yr who scheduled for elective non-laparoscopic surgery Elective surgery, fluid responsiveness, Perfusion index and recruitment maneuver

Interventions

PI will be recorded before and after lung recruitment maneuver (application of continuous positive airway pressure of 30 cm H2O for 30 s) then SV will be measured before and after volume expansion
during 10 min)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Elective surgery - Equipped with a radial arterial catheter and cardiac output monitor

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Arrhythmia, preoperative lung disease, left ventricular ejection fraction less than 50%, possible right ventricular dysfunction due to sleep apnea/severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease/pulmonary hypertension - Intracranial hypertension, Hemodynamic unstable - Laparoscopic surgery
